Michele's Monday Update!!!!

Happy Martin Luther King JR. Day!
"Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?'"

Happy MLK JR. Monday everyone! This past week was another incredible week at the club! We had a record number of tours and thank you to all of you that have been referring your family, friends, and co-workers because we acquired quite a few new members this week as well. Remember, if you refer three new members you get a month free! Snap Avon is ROCKING.

Also, I apologize for the length of this email, but I have quite a few exciting announcements, reminders, and updates to share --

1. First I would like to announce that I met with the chef and owner of La Trattoria and created "Michele Approved" Snap Fitness healthy meal options. Beginning next weekend there will be a special insert in their dinner menus with this one-of-a-kind menu. I find that it's not difficult to get someone to train, but where people fail is with their nutrition. Now you can go to dinner and know that you have healthy dinner options that not only taste great but won't ruin your progress in the gym (selections will change and will update seasonally as well). This is only the beginning -- Stay tuned for more new and exciting partnerships coming in The Valley! :)

1. Second, thank you for the feedback from our recent survey on class options and times. I'd like to announce that -- if a minimum of 10 new people sign up for classes -- beginning the first week of February I will be adding TWO new classes. The first is "Aerobics for Everyone" at 6pm Tuesdays and Thursdays; and the second is "Yoga Stretch" at 7pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. Classes will begin TUESDAY FEBRUARY 5TH and both will be taught by Tynan. Fees for classes are the same as they are for our bootcamp class - which is $15/month for unlimited class attendance. Drop in fee is simply $5. Again we need 10 new class enrollments in order for us to be able to add these two new classes --- so call or stop in and register with Jessica this week (asap!).

2. Third, it was worth a shot, but Avon P&Z once again denied the club the 24 hour access this week. Our neighbors did threaten to call the police for any noise they heard should P&Z approve the 24 hours so in all honesty I think it's for the best. I wouldn't want the police to receive a barrage of unnecessary phone calls. We are open from 5am-midnight every day (even holidays! woot, woot!) and that is how it's going to stay.

3. We also have a "name the clock" contest going on. We've received so many "Thank Yous" for adding the clock this week so I've decided to name it. Most creative name wins a prize!! A sign up sheet is at the front desk and you can post on our Facebook page as well (www.facebook.com/snapfitnessavonct). Winner will be announced in next Sunday's email.

4. Another exciting local partnership ---- I've hired FAVARH (www.favarh.org) to come in this week Tuesday and Thursday morning at 9:30am to do a DEEP CLEAN of the club. FAVARH will also be doing weekly cleanings every Thursday at 9:30am so please plan accordingly should you find the sound of vacuums be distracting.

5. Also, PLEASE KEEP OUR CLUB CLEAN! ALWAYS bring a change of shoes because the salt in the parking lot damages the machines and equipment. PLEASE also rack your weights! Many people are unable to lift the weights off of the barbells, plate loaded machines, etc. I need your help so please be respectful.

6. Lastly, the two brown chairs are for sale. If you are interested please inquire with either Jessica or myself.

Have a great week everyone and let's keep the momentum going! GO SNAP AVON GO!
