I joined SNAP fitness while traveling across the country in my RV
with my college graduate son. He wanted a place to workout, so I found that
SNAP was available in all the places we were headed. I signed up online, and we
started going. I was 238 pounds and could barely get up into the RV and down
without it being difficult.
We worked out 1 hour a day, 3 days a week, and took the 4th day
off. When I first started, I couldn't run for five minutes on the treadmill,
though my son made that my goal. I would then walk for 25 more minutes, and
then do weights for the rest of the time, finishing my workout with some
stretching.
For the next 10 months, (my son was with me for 3 months) I
continued my travels around the USA, and working out. I ran more, and in
January I completed a 5k in a SNAP fitness in California. I would guess I have
visited more than 40 different SNAP fitness centers across the country, and
have now lost 48 pounds to date. I am so much stronger than I was, and feel so
much better every day! My Doctor performed blood work and was amazed at the differences
from a year earlier.
SNAP fitness helped me change my body and my life, while traveling
and seeing the USA!
