Michele's Monday Update! February 4, 2013


Goooooood Morning Snap Avon! For those who have only one eye open today due to yesterday's festivities, be sure to drink A TON of water and stop into the club to sweat it out today!

Here are this week's announcements:

1. Head Trainer Brian Szmigiel was video recorded on Friday doing the Burpee Challenge. Brian was able to perform 36 Burpees in one minute. Congratulations to Mary Shea for coming the closest with a vote of 32 burpees! You have won a FREE 30 minute personal training session with Brian! 2. Next up.................THE BOX JUMP CHALLENGE with Head Class Instructor Tynan Santana! Post up your votes this week either at the front desk or on Facebook for how many box jumps you think Tynan can do in ONE MINUTE using a 24" plyo box. Closest vote gets a prize! We will post a picture of the plyo box on Facebook later today. **Be sure to like the page: www.facebook.com/snapfitnessavonct

3. REMINDER: The two NEW classes start this week! Beginning Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm we have a new Aerobics for Everyone class and at 7pm we have a new Yoga Stretch class. If you haven't done so already, be sure to sign up for unlimited classes for only $15/month. **class descriptions below**

4. The club received more press this week with a great article by Jessie Sawyer in The Avon Patch. Club members Paul, Raj, and Karen Patane all made celebrity appearances in the article and/or photos so check it out! http://avon.patch.com/articles/former-gym-member-buys-avon-snap-fitness

5. If you haven't done so yet, be sure to stop into La Trattoria for the special Snap Fitness/Michele Approved dinner menu. Starting this weekend we will have a new BREAKFAST menu at The Village Cafe & Bistro in Canton! Who doesn't love breakfast? Look out for a healthy egg dish, pancake (YES, I said pancake!), and an exciting beverage option.

6. You have probably noticed a case of Isagenix products and info in the club. Organic, all natural, no artificial colors/flavors/sweeteners, and created by medical doctors. They are the ONLY products myself and my fellow Fitness Coaches, athletes (especially older athletes), and family take for total body health, nutrition -- and exercise recovery. Look out for samples in the club this week.

7. Lastly, thank you for remembering to rack your weights and bring a change of shoes before using the equipment. FAVARH will be back on Thursday for their weekly cleaning of the club between 9:30-11:30am. Let's work together to keep our club clean!

New Class Descriptions:

Aerobics for Everyone: Total body workout for all ages and levels that focuses on stationary cardio movements, light full body dumbbell work, and core conditioning. Perfect 60 minute class for someone intimidated by our boot camp classes and looking to develop healthy exercise habits and establish a routine.

Yoga Stretch: Classical style stretch class systematically working the entire body, stretching muscles and building foundational strength. This 60 minute class is appropriate for beginners and more experienced students alike. It is truly a complete mind-body workout. Your focus will improve, your mind will become clear, and you will feel as if you are floating out of class.
